Thanks for your support!

It was a real pleasure to participate in last Saturday's benefit for Mary Jo Wolf at Columbia Street West (well, as much as it could be considered pleasure to have to have the event at all.) Mary Jo is a former co-worker and friend from the radio station, who is currently battling cancer....and the event was designed as a fundraiser to assist her with the staggering medical bills one incurs when you're in a fight for your life. The super-talented Chris Dodds provided music, Billy Elvis and Mary Jane MCed (with yours truly chipping in his 2 cents worth,) and lots of Mary Jo's family and friends came together to give her spirits, and her financial status, a boost.
I donated a certificate for a free Tiny Bubbles Bubble Party to the live auction for the event, and was humbled to see how well that turned out--when not ONLY did it sell for more than what I charge for a party to begin with; but was popular enough that a bidding war started. When the dust cleared, the winning bidder gave the certificate BACK to the organizers of the event, and it was sold for a SECOND time. to the runner-up in the bidding...bringing in the most money of any single item at the event! (And yes, in case you're wondering, I plan on doing BOTH parties as a result of the TWO winning bids....even though I originally only donated ONE to the event.)
I'm thankful every day that there's enough interest in Tiny Tunes, Tiny Bubbles, and the rest of my services, that I can continue to do what I love....and I'm glad I could contribute to a worthwhile cause. To all involved, thank you!
